The axe Axe Vegvisir is a truly exclusive work of the master! Like any other Scandinavian symbol, Vegvisir has its own history. The runic pattern that is located at the edge of the axe is called galdrastav, which was used by the Vikings in magical practice. Vegvisir is a runic compass pointing the way. It is believed that the runes around the Vegvisir act as a magic compass. Galdrbuk (Icelandic witchbook) says “The one who wears this sign, no one will ever lose their way in storms or bad weather, even when the path is unknown,” so if you are going on a long hike or trip, feel free to take it with you.
